Sheriff Shakti here, with a recap of this year's Conejo Valley Days. We sure had us a rootin'-tootin' good time celebratin' CVD's 60th anniversary in Thousand Oaks, CA. The event is a celebration of the valley's rich history, with a mission to support 30 nonprofits in their quest for funding. We kicked off the festivities with the traditional Children's Parade, where we marched through the beautiful Conejo Creek Park. Later on we continued our celebratin' at the CVD Carnival, where we gave out high fives and posed for a whole lotta pictures with excited carnival-goers!
